Full-Time IT Specialist – Wisner

SUMMARY OF JOB:

The IT Specialist reports directly to the IT Manager and offices primarily out of our Wisner location. Travel to all of our bank locations is required as needed. The IT Specialist provides technical support to all Bank locations and employees; assists with daily operational tasks and password resets; maintains and supports the hardware and software on the Bank’s network; provides technical assistance and answers to users’ questions, assisting users with troubleshooting; maintains customer confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1. Maintain and support computer hardware and software systems, including network topology and data flow diagrams.
  2. Assist with bank website, social media and internet banking products.
  3. Identify, investigate and assist users in identifying and resolving technical issues with hardware, software, equipment, connectivity, and similar concerns.
  4. Arrange service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
  5. Reset passwords on bank network and bank computer products.
  6. Review reports and perform daily functions.
  7. Travel to other Citizens State Bank locations as needed.
  8. Other duties or special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  1. Associate degree in Information Technology or a minimum of 2 years of experience in Information Technology or related field.
  2. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with customers and other employees.
  3. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products or related software.
  4. Ability to analyze problems and select most appropriate corrective action.
  5. Ability to organize, prioritize, manage multiple assignments, work independently and meet deadlines.
  6. Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  7. Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and customers.
  8. Basic understanding of, and ability to quickly learn, an array of computer hardware and software.
  9. Ability to lift 15 to 20 pounds.
  10. Scheduled Hours:  Full Time and overtime as needed.

Full-Time Customer Service Representative – Spalding

SUMMARY OF JOB

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers and non-customers by providing prompt, efficient and accurate customer service; representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner; and being alert to customer needs. Ensures all transactions are completed efficiently and accurately, while maintaining customer confidentiality. Responsible for balancing all financial transactions performed during work shift.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Process customer transactions, including receiving deposits, verifying cash and endorsements and issuing receipts, making withdrawals, cashing checks, selling money orders, providing customer account printouts, scanning work for remote capture, and receiving installment loan payments.
  • Greet customers courteously and refer them to the appropriate staff.
  • Assist customers with choosing bank products and opening accounts.
  • Provide customer access to safe deposit boxes (where applicable); answer the telephone, transfer calls, and take messages; and type or key miscellaneous reports, logs, forms, documents, and other correspondence, as needed.
  • Assist the customer with internet banking questions.
  • Balance transactions at end of day and verify cash totals.
  • Operate drive-up teller window, including rotating Saturday staffing.
  • Carry out opening and closing procedures of branch.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with customers and other employees.
  • Cash handling and balancing experience and accuracy highly preferred.
  • Customer service and retail sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to use core processing and data systems, and other standard office equipment such as a computer, typewriter and 10-key calculator/adding machine.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 15 to 20 pounds.
