Citizens State Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Laura Schwartz to its Papillion team as Assistant Vice President. Schwartz comes to the Bank with over 30 years of accomplished workplace experience in management, personal wellness, manufacturing, customer experience, banking, and the non-profit and government sectors. She is a passionate community advocate and has been a resident of Papillion for 23 years. As a military wife of 30 years, she has chaired numerous family support groups and Yellow Ribbon Events, and supported military families in a variety of ways. In her most recent role as Executive Director of the Papillion Community Foundation, Laura worked closely with the City of Papillion, donors, other nonprofit organizations, corporate leaders as well as engaged citizens, to continue to strengthen Papillion through creative philanthropy, vision, and leadership.

Laura and her husband of 32 years, Gerry, have two grown sons, Travis and Matthew. When she is not working, she enjoys time spent being active with her family, cooking and DIY projects.
